LIBRARY FACILITY
The college, established in 1970, houses a magnificent library situated at the center of the campus in a dedicated building. The library is well-organized into various sections, including the Acquisition Section, Stack Area, Circulation Counter, IT Zone, Research Room, Periodical Section, Reference Section, Reprographic Section, Staff Zone, and a spacious Reading Hall.
The various sections of the library collectively offer a rich collection of books and periodicals to support academic and research activities. The library also provides access to open educational resources, thereby enhancing its digital and research support services. In addition, a book-bank facility is available to lend textbooks to deserving and needy students for the entire academic session. Wi-Fi connectivity is also provided within the library premises for the convenience of users.

The library is committed to improving the quality of its services and facilities, achieving a high degree of user satisfaction, and ensuring the delivery of the right information to the right user at the right time.

The college has constituted a Library Advisory Committee to ensure the effective and smooth functioning of the library. The committee meets periodically, as required, to discuss and address various matters related to library facilities and services. It comprises the following members:

Print Resources
The library has a rich and diverse collection of resources to support learning and research. It houses a total of 25,947 books, along with a wide range of periodicals, magazines and newspapers. These resources provide valuable information across various subjects and help students and faculty stay updated with current knowledge and developments.
Library Timings
The library follows a highly flexible working schedule throughout the year. It opens before the institution begins and remains open even after the closing hours, providing readers ample time to access its resources without affecting their academic commitments.
Circulation Counter: 08.30 to 3:30 (Monday to Saturday except Gazetted Holidays)
Reading Areas: 08.30 to 16:00 (Except Sundays and Gazetted Holidays)
Users are required to leave the library at least five minutes before closing time to allow for proper checking and secure locking of the library premises.

Penalty for Loss of Book (s):
In case a book borrowed by a user is lost, the borrower must either:
If the book is not replaced or paid for within the stipulated time, an overdue fine will also be charged.
In the case of rare or out-of-print books that are not available in the market, the borrower may be required to pay a higher amount and the final cost will be determined by the competent authority.
Book Bank: The library provides a Book Bank facility for lending textbooks to needy and deserving students for the entire academic session
Reprographic Service: Reprographic (photocopying) services are available in the library on a payment basis during all working days.
OPAC: OPAC is a digital catalogue that represents the library’s collection of learning resources. It allows users to easily search and access information about available books and materials in the library.
